RHDO recently conducted a refresher training for facilitators under the Maternal and Child Benefit Programme (MCBP), with the goal of enhancing effective community engagement through quality Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC).
🎯 Purpose
The training aimed to strengthen field staff’s facilitation skills, technical knowledge, and interpersonal communication, focusing on maternal and child health, nutrition, and immunization in line with MoPH, WFP, and other partners’ guidelines.

🧠Methodology
The training adopted a participatory and hands-on approach, including:
- Interactive PowerPoint presentations
- Group discussions and real-life scenarios
- Practical review of all five SBCC core sessions
- Use of IEC materials (flipcharts, videos, handouts)
- Q&A sessions for peer learning and clarification
- Emphasis on referral pathways and checklist use
